Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic Massage #01

Connecting you, your body and your life....

I was born in London, England. Over 20 years practising and teaching in holistic therapies has allowed me to develop a flexible and personal approach to my massage. A blend of eastern and western methods combine and ultimately transcend to give way to highly effective treatments.

The beauty of touch is that it speaks quietly, bypassing our sometimes well defended, busy minds. With the skilful hands of the therapist allowing us to make a direct connection to our body, systemic changes take place that were not previously possible. With the combination of well developed techniques and the quality of touch, I am able to treat and stimulate the bodies innate ability to heal itself.

Positive results can take place in one or two sessions while other cases can take more time, this depends on the underlying nature of the symptoms. All treatments are individually personalised according to the needs and goals of the client.

I work with pressure, movement and breathing, the pressure maybe light and sometimes quite deep, this is carefully attended to, during the initial case history.

Holistic Massage?

The whole person is taken into consideration when creating a treatment plan. The benefits of coming for Therapeutic Massage, especially on a regular basis, are multi- layered and diverse. Apart from addressing and alleviating muscular tension, acute and chronic pain, holistic massage takes into account our relationship to our body. The benefits from this relationship are an increase in awareness and results that are sustainable, extending beyond the reliance of the techniques used.

The body can sometimes feel tired and exhausted. This can be due to holding patterns in the body that effect the circulatory and nervous systems. You learn how to let go of these holding patterns, giving way to an organic healing process. You learn to unwind yourself, bringing with it, increased energy and the ability to move more freely in mind and body.
